Coined as “the Gateway to Northern Luzon”, the province of Pangasinan lies in the northwestern region of Luzon. In this province, beautiful destinations abound. There are many sights and places to see and experience - a tour of the province is a more rewarding experience than just going to resorts and beaches. That is because, some of the best places and attractions here in Paradise Philippines can be found in Pangasinan.

The most known place in Pangasinan is the Hundred Islands, an island group situated in its respective gulf, namely the Gulf of Lingayen. Indeed numbering more than a hundred, this group of islands is the main tourist attraction and travel destination of the province of Pangasinan. Some of the islands have been developed for tourism - others appear to be just small rocks with lush vegetation on top.

Other attractions to this province include the Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag in the town of Manaoag, and the Señor Divino Tesoro Shrine of the municipality of Calasiao. Both of these towns are mostly flocked by devotees for its supposed miraculous powers. And add to that fact is that Filipinos are religious in nature.

Still, there are more to see and experience in Pangasinan. The province has numerous beaches for its people and visitors - the most known is the Cape Bolinao Beach. Located at the province’s northwestern most town of Bolinao, this beach boasts of white sands and blue waters. In short, this beach is similar to the world-class beaches of Boracay Island and Saud beach of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. And the list doesn’t end there - add to it the numerous old churches, caves and beautiful works of Nature the province of Pangasinan provides. Indeed, its description as “the heartland of the Philippines” seems so fitting, as there is much to see in this province. This is indeed the heartland of the Paradise Philippines.
